Something Borrowed, Something Blue Original

Did you know that birds will often weave ribbon into their nests? It is not known whether they do it for practicality or for aesthetics. I personally like to believe it is to make their nest a little more like a home, filled with beauty and love. This painting is for the newly weds out there just starting or the veteran married couple that have made it through thick and thin, a home is what you make it together, maybe add something blue too. 

This artwork is my original creation made with oil pastel on a 16x20 canvas, sealed with a special sealant that prevents smudging, ensuring safe handling. This piece is equipped with wire ready for hanging. This piece comes with its own custom frame. Frame is included in price.

*I hand sign the front of every original with my initials and the back with a full signature, name of the piece and date of creation.
