Enduring Love Original

 I drew my subject, color, and mood out of jars. This time I drew highland cow, purple with gold, and in love. At first I struggled, I had no idea how to combine these together into an aerial view piece. But then I thought, what if the two cows were sitting on a hillside watching a storm come, but they were calm, confident in their love. That as long as they are together they can weather anything. As I painted this, I found this piece deeply personal as I kept thinking of my own marriage. When you first get married, everything seems wonderful. Then the storms of life come and you have to ask yourself, am going to endure or run and hide. If you are out for yourself in marriage you are going to run away to preserve yourself. But when you stand together, you can truly face anything. Much like these cows. At the end I added the bed of roses as a reminder to keep your love alive, keep dating each other long after the honeymoon is over. Then truly, your love will endure anything.

This artwork is my original creation made with oil pastel on a 16x20 canvas, sealed with a special sealant that prevents smudging, ensuring safe handling. This piece is equipped with wire ready for hanging. This piece comes with a gold frame. Frame is included in price.
