I hate getting up in the morning, but my husband encouraged me to get up on a Saturday morning while he cared for our two littles and go out to paint the sunrise. Boy the view did not disappoint! However, I forgot that it was squirrel season in New York and as I worked, the peaceful morning air was shattered by tons of gun fire! Thank goodness I was just next to the parking lot. I grabbed my stuff as soon as the sketch was finished and completed the pieces at home. What a rush! Who needs coffee on a morning like that?
These pieces are my original creations made with oil pastel on three, 8x8 canvases; sealed with a special sealant that prevents smudging, ensuring safe handling. These pieces are equipped with wire ready for hanging. It can be framed or hung as is.
*I hand sign the front of every original with my initials and the back with a full signature, name of the piece and date of creation.
