This is the fourth piece in my “Aerial Stories” series where I threw myself to the mercy of chance and drew my subject, color, and mood out of a jar. Here I drew bird, chaotic, with purple, pink, and green. It was my desire to capture the intense moment in a serene landscape where a predator suddenly leaps from the shadows to catch its prey, the bird. And yet hope lies on the horizon. Just as sun rays peaks through the rain clouds in the distance, so the bird has hope of escape. There is always hope.
