Keuka Lake Original

Every year we vacation with our family on Keuka Lake and I am always inspired by the sailboats that pass by our humble spot, but I am usually never fast enough to capture a good picture of it let alone paint it. This year, I determined to paint the view off our dock. As I painted, a huge sailboat passed by right in front of me and paused as it prepared to dock at shore, giving me just enough time to add it to my painting. I absolutely love sailboats and hope to be a passenger on one someday. For now, I will enjoy this special moment I was able to capture, admiring it's massive sails from afar. 

This artwork is my original creation made with oil pastel on canvas, sealed with a special sealant that prevents smudging, ensuring safe handling. This piece is equipped with wire ready for hanging. It can be framed or hung as is.

*I hand sign the front of every original with my initials and the back with a full signature, name of the piece and date of creation.
